Fine Arts Portfolio
Art is my form of self expression. Most of my life is built off of artistry and I have learned some of the most valuable lessons from my artistic journey. I often explore arts such as calligraphy, music, and photography, but my main artistic endeavors consist of dance, visual arts, poetry and makeup arts.

Visual Arts
“Freedom”
This painting shows what freedom feels like to me. The darkness represents a drowning – how it felt suffering through depression, chronic illness, and society’s expectations. The prisms of color represent freedom – vibrancy and trueness. To me, freedom has no shape, but you have to reach and open it yourself.
“الاحتلال – The Occupation”
A 3D portrait representing the pain and sorrow of occupation that coexists with hope and beauty of the Palestinian people.

“Fractured”
“Fractured” is a multi-media painting and drawing that is layered with meaning. It is a self-portrait, cut into pieces, to signify my fractured and lost state of mind, body and spirit. The shattered mirror represents the lies that were fed to me, which I had to break in order to heal.
“Ripples”
“Ripples” represents the idea that our mistreatment of the Earth, symbolized by a woman, creates a ripple affect, which the Moon exposes with it’s light.
Cosmetic Arts
Swan Lake Inspired Makeup
I worked as a makeup artist and model for a cosmetic line called Halcyon Now.
